Eustace Octavious Anglin affectionately called “Mass Eu” and “Easy” was born on October 5, 1933, in Beeston Spring, Westmoreland, Jamaica. He lived a long life defined by strength, kindness, and quiet dignity.
A devoted man of God, faith, and family, these values were instilled in him from a young age by his father. His father built Left Hall Church of God in Jamaica, and it was there that Mass Eu developed his love for the Lord. His faith was not just something he believed, it was something he lived daily, guiding his words, his actions, and the way he loved and cared for others.
He carried that faith with him throughout his life, remaining steadfast and committed, and continued to serve God faithfully at his home church, Berean Church of God, where he was loved by many and will be truly missed.
That same spirit of faith and humility carried into every part of his life, including his work. Even while working tirelessly on a full-time job to provide for his family, Eustace also held a weekend job where he became affectionately known as “Easy,” a nickname given to him because of his calm spirit and ability to make everything easier for everyone around him. He truly embodied warmth, patience, and humility, and his gentle smile and steady presence brought comfort and joy to many.
Throughout his life, Eustace touched countless hearts. He will be remembered for his wisdom, quiet humor, and the love he so freely gave to his family and friends.
On March 26, 2026, he peacefully transitioned from this life, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories that will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his children: Carol Anglin, Basil Anglin, Evlyn Anglin Hearne, and Andy Anglin; his grandchildren: Sabrina Russell, Andre Anglin, Richard Hearne Jr., Ariana Anglin, Carissa Anglin, Lillia Anglin, and Liel Anglin; his great-grandchildren: Andre Anglin Jr., Mariah Anglin, Amir Edwards, and Amayah Edwards; his daughters-in-law: Charlene Anglin, Sylvia Anglin, and Shevadean Anglin (Jade); and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Nellie Anglin, and his son, Earl Anglin.
Eustace will be deeply missed, forever loved, and his legacy will live on in all who knew him.
“One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life…” — Psalm 27:4
