

OSBORNE, George Amos, 58, of Pompano Beach, FL, passed away on Monday, July 14, 2014. George was born at home in Margate City, NJ on September 10, 1955. He attended Margate public schools and graduated from Atlantic City High School. George was a partner in the Photo Center in Atlantic City for 30 years until its closing in 2003. He had a love of the ocean and beach. His hobbies included surfing, sailing, and photography. George is survived by his sisters Carol Wagener, Carolann Boyd, Janet Osborne-Boger, Shelly Osborne-Elonis, and his brothers Edgar Osborne III, and Matthew Osborne, along with many nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his parents Edgar and Helen Osborne and his brother Floyd Osborne. George had many life-long friends from Margate including Gene Tighe, Joe Ashner, Gene (Doc) Westcott, Jim Savio, and Mike Sankey. George is also survived by his companion, Art Battista of Pompano Beach.

Burial will be private followed by a celebration of life in Florida and one in New Jersey on his birthday, September 10th
