Jamie George Cayuso

Jamie George Cayuso, 44, passed away peacefully on July 12, 2016 after a valiant four and a half year battle with brain cancer. He was born in New York. He graduated from Zion Lutheran High School in 1989 and was extremely proud to wear garnet and gold as a Florida State Seminole. He met the love of his life , Mary-Frances , on Halloween 1995 at the Covenant House, Ft. Lauderdale and they were married in 1998. He showered his sons, Ryan and Hayden with unconditional love and considered fatherhood his greatest accomplishment, He passed his love of baseball along to his sons and the many boys he had the privilege of coaching. He enjoyed fishing, music and gaming especially with his special group of lifelong friends. Jamie approached the news of his illness with fierce determination and his sense of humor intact, and although cancer eventually ended his life, it did not beat him. In addition Jamie is survived by his loving and supportive Mother, Anita, and his adoring brother Michael. He is pre-deceased by his father Raymond. He also leaves behind his grandmother Helen Wilke, His mother in law Virginia Fraser, sister in law Beth-Ann Boegler (Scott), his nephew Thomas, his great Aunt Pauline Byrne and cousins Ralph Roberto (Carol), Victoria Casso, Frank Casso (Jennifer), Patricia Casso, Frankie Casso and Carmela Casso.
