Jamie is survived by his wife Jennifer, daughter Kaitlyn; son Bryce; Father Jonathan Gott; Mother in law Peggy LaPrade, Father in law Robert LaPrade; siblings Nicole Marques; Brother in laws Patrick LaPrade and Doug Marques; Nieces Breanna, Madison, Maggie and Addison; nephew PJ; and Daniela Echeverry who was our daughter that came to us later in life. He is preceded in death by his loving mother Karen.
Jamie was born on September 21, 1976 in Ft. Lauderdale, FL to Jonathan and Karen Gott, he graduated from Deerfield Beach High School in 1995. He married his wife Jennifer in 1999 and over the years welcomed 2 beautiful children into their home. Jamie was a passionate man, was a dedicated husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend. He was extremely proud of his children and encouraged them to pursue all of their dreams.
Jamie loved his Green Bay Packers. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who worked hard and played harder.
Jamie began working at JM Family Enterprises in 2002 as a third mate. Through his 18 year career with hard work and dedication he achieved the rank of First Officer. He was an accomplished boat captain who pursued a career in something that he loved.
Jamie will be truly missed by all of his loved ones.
