

Jerome Jason Patrick was born April 30, 1983 to Donna Campbell and Aubrey Patrick. He grew up in Kingston, Jamaica where he attended St Elizabeth Basic School, Haven Dale Prep and Hagley Park Prep. He later migrated to America in 1994, where he lived in Silver Springs, Maryland and attended Eastern Middle School. He later relocated to Fort Lauderdale and graduated from Boyd Anderson High in 2000. After leaving high school, he wanted to continue and went to Broward Community College where he excelled and became fluent in Spanish. He continued his education at Sante Se Community College in Gainsville, FL where he majored in business. He enjoyed reading and loved learning new things. He was naturally gifted in arts. He enjoyed painting and was good at it. He was creative in designing and sewing men’s clothing. The last thing that he made was some bow ties. He did two years of professional modeling for magazines in Florida.
Jerome was very helpful. He would help to cook and do house work when his mother was at work. He assisted with taking care of his younger sisters.
Jerome has friendly personality and made many friend were ever he goes. He is very comical, and animated. The way he told a story was so interesting, you could visualize his many twists and turns, so by the end, you would get a clear picture and experience the journey.
While he was living in Gainsville, Olivia recalls a story of a faith experience. Jerome prayed for faith one day while walking and after the prayer he came upon a church named Spirit of Faith. When he went inside the church, the lady at the front desk name was Faith and this began a new journey for Jerome, a journey of salvation. Jerome grew in the lord and became closer to God and he would tell his sister, Olivia all God was revealing to him. It was at this time when he was getting stronger in the Lord that he became afflicted with cancer. He was strong and courageous throughout the process. There was a moment when cancer almost killed him before death really came and God gave him a glimpse of Heaven. He described it to his sister Olivia. He said that he saw angels and how beautiful heaven was.
Jerome loved Gainsville and adored his pastor Kenneth Kiater and spiritual mothers Cozet, Tricia and spiritual brother Wayne.
Jerome’s biggest accomplishment before leaving earth was to accept Jesus Christ into his heart as Lord and savior of his life and for this he is in heaven and while there is still at work orchestrating event like this one we are experiencing now.
Jerome is missed and loved by everyone his life has touched. All his friends and family are celebrating his life on earth and also his eternal life in heaven.
Jerome is survived by: mother, Donna, father, Aubrey, sisters, Olivia, Deedra, Brittney, nephew, Jeremiah, grandmother, Winnifred, aunts, Flo, Mrs,.Facey, cousins: Tracey-Ann, Angella, Noel, Sonia, Sharon and other relatives and friends.
Jerome’s favorite saying was, “ No weapon formed against you shall prosper,
