Joanne Price (87) passed away Saturday November 10, 2018 after dealing with an illness for several years. Joanne was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and was a long-time resident of Delafield, before moving to Pompano Beach, Florida in 2003 with her husband Frank. Frank passed away in 2011, after 60 years of marriage to Joanne. In January of 2018 Joanne was blessed to meet Rhonda Wright, who became a full time live-in and best friend during Joanne’s last year. Growing up in Wisconsin, Joanne attended Wauwatosa High School, and a year of college at University of Madison before starting her life with Frank and raising their only son Michael.
For many years Joanne was an active member of the Nagawicka Lake Yacht Club, and in winters Joanne was a curler supporting the Kettle Moraine Curling Club, she was one of the original founders. While in Florida Joanne was a member of the Pompano Beach, 9 Holers Golf League and held the Presidents Club Championship several times.
Joanne was preceded in death by her loving husband, Frank, and survived by; Son Michael Price, Daughter in law Maria Ciociola Price, Grandchildren, Julia and Elizabeth Price, and her Sister Rosemary Steiner, of West Allis, WI.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 10:00 am at St. Gabriel Catholic Church: 731 N. Ocean Blvd. Pompano Beach, FL 33062.
Inurnment will take place on Friday, January 4, 2018 2:00 pm at Arlington Park Cemetery, 4141 S. 27th Street, Milwaukee, WI.
