He was born in Brooklyn, New York on 18 February 1961.
He graduated from the Queens, NY Aviation High School earning an airframe and powerplant (A&P) mechanics certification and moved to California upon high school graduation to begin his career in aviation mechanics.
Jorge later renewed his passion for media, producing medical training programs and local TV broadcasts. An enthusiastic videographer and entrepreneur, he recently contributed his expertise in the field to train the next generation of media videographers.
He loved engineering and mechanics... a real problem solver and "fix-it" kind of guy. He enjoyed fishing, biking, riding his motorcycle and making movies...even had a role in a Zombie movie.
Jorge is survived by his parents: Jorge L Montalvo Sr. and V.S. Montalvo; his siblings: V.S.M.Knudsen, L.M.M.O'brien, M.D.Montalvo and J.A. Montalvo.
He is survived by 4 cousins; 3 nephews and 3 nieces; 1 grandniece.
