

For 63 years he was happily married to Irene Spinosa in Arlington, Massachusetts. Joseph loved being close to the beach. He enjoyed boating, fishing, golfing, bocce ball, gardening, walks along the beach, doing home “fixer upper” projects with his hands but most of all being by Irene’s side taking step by step together every day as one.
He had a passion for being with family, friends, talking, laughing and working for 30 years as an engineer for the MITRE Corporation of Bedford, Massachusetts.
He was also extremely proud of enlisting in the U.S. Navy and serving his country for 8 years during the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife Irene; his 3 sons, David and wife Lisa and their children Bianca, Michael and David of Virginia, Domenic and his wife Jill and their children Mark, Kate and Lee of Massachusetts and Joseph and his daughter Juliana of Massachusetts as well as many other relatives and friends.
A time of gathering will be held on Friday, February 9th from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. at the St. Gabriel Church, Pompano Beach, Florida.
