God bless you Michael and may His peace fall upon all of his loved ones so that their hearts will be full of joy knowing that Michael is at home with the Father. Class of 1973 CCH: With a spirit that will not die. 

I attended CCH with Mike and, later, worked with him at Shillito’s department store for several years. Mike was always smiling and made you feel good to stumble across his path.

I went to grade school with Mike.  His infectious smile has not changed.  In those early years when I knew him best , he was always laughing and had the biggest grin on his face.  He will be remembered in my daily prayers. Condolences to his Partner, family and friends. May his loving soul journey to Our Loving Father’s arms. 

I went to grade school with Mike. He was the nicest guy. I am sure he will be truly missed. My prayers go out to his partner & his family. Very sorry .

My thoughts and prayers to Dwayne and Michael's family. I just found out about the very sad news regarding Michael's passing. I have many fond memories and my heart goes out to Dwayne.

Mike was a kind, thoughtful and earnest man. He was the consummate professional, and always committed to doing the right thing. He impacted many people positively, likely more than he knew. He will be missed by many friends, family and acquaintances. 

Mike was a wonderful , kind , funny,  intelligent  gentleman and gentle man  ...I will miss him !

I know Michael and Dwaine through my friends Steven and Gary. Though I had only a few opportunities to interact with them, I always enjoyed Michaels company. I’ll remember his great smile and positive outlook. He was so easy to be around. I’m honored to have Michaels memory live on with me. I’m only sorry that I didn’t live closer, so I could have spent more time with he and Dwaine. 

While I only knew Mike for the past year, I am so saddened by his passing. He was a caring soul and a great pleasure to work with... to Dwaine and all of their family I hope that they can find some comfort in knowing that he will be missed by many...

I can't believe you're gone from us, Mike.  Your loss has deeply saddened me. You were always so warm and engaging with everyone you encountered.  Dwaine, may the love of those around you help you through the days ahead.

Michael was a true gentleman and friendly to all.  He was tops in his field and will certainly be missed by many people. 

While I did not know Michael, I am friends with his sister Kim.  I can only imagine what a fine man he was because love, kindness,  and joy are part of Michael’s family. God bless the Gunning family during this very sad time.
