

Mildred Adamo, a cherished and beloved member of the community, passed away on February 8, 2026, at the age of 96. Born on October 16, 1929, in Brooklyn, New York, Mildred was the devoted daughter of Louis and Mary (nee: Ardolino) Guidone, both of whom predeceased her. She was also predeceased by her brother, Fred Guidone.
Mildred was a devoted wife, having married Philip Adamo in November 1946. Their union lasted 51 years until Philip's passing in November 1997. Together, they raised two sons, Peter and Philip, who is married to Jackie. Mildred was a proud grandmother to Mandi, Lauren, and Jarret, Gina and a great-grandmother to Giovanni, and Luella, Carson, and Cullen.
Throughout her career, Mildred served as an Office Manager for the Board of Education City of New York, where she was known for her dedication and professionalism.
In her personal life, Mildred enjoyed a variety of hobbies, including playing bingo and card games. She was also passionate about crafting and spent many hours knitting blankets, which brought joy to her family and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, located at 370 SW 3rd St, Boca Raton, FL 33432, on February 20, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. Following the service, a Committal Service will take place at the Boca Raton Mausoleum, 451 SW 4th Ave, Boca Raton, FL 33432, at 12:15 pm.
Mildred's legacy of love and devotion will be remembered by all who knew her.
