Dear Charlene:

I'm so sorry I was in Detroit last week and couldn't make it to Pat's service.  I did go see him, though, and "talked" to him.  I needed to write and tell you how sorry I am and how sad I am at Pat's death.  He was such a special person in my life that no words are really good enough.  Pat brought pleasure to my mother and I and I'm sure, to everyone that knew him - he will be sadly missed.  I'm so happy that I have my own treasured memories of Pat - I so valued him.  I'm thinking about you and so happy knowing that Pat had you in his life.  He adored you.  If you ever want to talk and share memories of Pat or if you need anything please let me know.

So sorry for your loss. A kind man is gone.

Oh Pat, Art and I tried to find you. I remember Plum St, Kentucky, Lake St., and yes Robert. Not many stories we tell of the old days your not in them. I never met your wife or daughter, however knowing you there wonderful. We may lose track, but there is a circle which keeps us all informed. Loved you like a brother, RIP Pat. My condolences to Charlene and Candace, I have no words to ease the pain.

Charlene and Candace....my heart goes out to for you the loss that you are going through at this time.  Always remember the way he made you love, smile and the way he would always say he loved you...keep those memories alive.
