Randall Vance Van Meter

VAN METER, Randy, 53, of Lighthouse Point, FL, passed away on Monday, May 25, 2015. Randy was born in Nashville, TN and moved to Florida in 1984. He was an avid Dolphin’s Fan, fisherman, hunter and golfer. Randy’s true passion was his family and friends. He was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Pompano. Randy is survived by his loving wife, Kelli; sons, Randy, Jr., Billy and Dale; step-sons, Troy and Trevor; sister, Debra (Kevin); in-laws, Gene & Marsha Gamelin; sister-in-laws, Kathi (Dave) Cuesta and Kristine (Norm) Olsen; and several nieces and nephews. Randy will be remembered for his positive energy and outlook on life, and always had a smile and a kind word. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, 11am at the First Presbyterian Church of Pompano Beach (The Pink Church). In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lighthouse Christian School, 2331 NE 26th Avenue, Pompano Beach, FL 33062, in Randy’s name.
