

Robert Lee Brown of Hillsboro Beach, Florida beloved father and grandfather, loving husband, caring brother, brilliant businessman, good friend, and great eagle, passed away September 8th following a lengthy illness. He was born February 24th, 1942 in Cincinnati Ohio, and raised in nearby Loveland. He attended Riverside military academy, University of North Carolina and served four years in the Navy. His life began when he married Suellen Weber on April, 1st 1966 and had son Michael that same year. In 1971 he and his wife were blessed with their second son Kevin. He founded CBS Personnel Services (currently known as Staffmark ) in 1970 in Cincinnati and grew it to one of the largest staffing firms in the country. Bob Brown’s philosophy was to “exceed expectations” and hire eagles. He was a wonderful employer who cared deeply for his employees; he always gave people a second chance, and he always gave generously of his time and resources. He saw the good in people. He was an avid boater, golfer, and poker player, who loved spending time with his 4 grandchildren: Ellen, Adam, Gracie, and Elliott. He is survived by his wife Suellen, 2 sons Mike and Kevin, and sisters Patricia Medert and Harriet Coffman. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Broward county Humane Society. There will be a memorial service celebrating his life on Friday September 16th at the Hillsboro Club starting at 3:30 with a reception from 5:00 to 8:00pm. There will be an additional memorial service in his hometown of Centerville, Ohio at a later date.
