QUIMPER, Roger J., 71, of Baie des Sables, Québec, Canada, passed away on June 25, 2018. Roger has returned to his heavenly home with God. His devotion to his wife, Lorraine and his firm belief in God supported him in his life and ultimately gave him peace. He will be forever remembered by his brothers Jean-Marie, Raymond, Armand, Benoit, Bertrand, Gilles, Claude and his sister Jeanine. He will also be forever remembered by his numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and very dear friends.
Roger studied at the CEGEP de Matane and McGill University where he obtained his bachelor in telecommunication. He also obtained his license in property management.
Roger was loved by whom ever he touched. I am sharing testimonials from some of his long-standing friends;
Robert Leblanc “My dear friend Roger, as I was accumulating flying hours to obtain my pilot license, we have made numerous trips together and so many adventures. Roger, I will miss you as my co-pilot. Have a wonderful journey my precious friend.”
Jean-Francois Pinson “Our friendship grew from our professional life. Roger was an accomplished sales professional and above all a very dynamic man, always positive, worried of punctuality, efficiency, with the highest commitment. Always the same joy, always good times punctuated with his phenomenal burst of laughter. I had the privilege of sharing significant stages of Roger’s life, his wedding, anniversaries and the blessed time that the Lord gave us last October. Roger, it’s to a brother that I say goodbye, your faith was immense and my prayer continues to accompany you. You are in my heart and I say THANK YOU for the LOVE that GOD allowed us to share.”
Sonia Salama “Tribute to you my great and precious friend Roger, my professional guru who TAUGHT ME SO MUCH. You will always be my HERO of tenacity, perseverance, integrity and your desire for excellence! Thank you, Roger, for your refinement, good taste in wines and delicious food, and all these recipes shared ... You have brought so much in my life. Thank you for your generosity and altruism towards your fellow men. You will always stay in my heart.”
A Funeral mass will be scheduled. Interment will follow in the family plot at the Baie des Sables Cemetery.
