Rosalie was born April 20, 1938, in Nanticoke, Pennsylvania and was the eldest of four daughters to the Late Lemoine E Winters and Martha Greenland of Osceola Mills. Rosalie graduated as the Valedictorian from Osceola High School in 1955 and was known by her classmates as a smart and charming lady. Rosalie was determined to see the world and won a coveted spot as a TWA air hostess in the heyday of travel. This began Rosalie’s lifelong love affair with travel.
Rosalie met her future husband, Martin Joseph Reddington, while being stationed in Philadelphia. The two married and moved to Roseland, NJ where they had three daughters and where Rosalie spent the next 50 years. Rosalie took enormous pride in taking care of her and always improving her home, the beautiful roses in her garden, her music collection and her family.
Rosalie worked for Prudential Insurance for 27 years and was an effective saleswoman and savvy investor. After retiring, Rosalie continued her travels all over the world, often with the TWA Clip Wings or different members of her family. She enjoyed gardening, good food, a nice glass of wine and her beloved dog, Ellie.
Rosalie eventually moved to Florida from New Jersey in 2017 to enjoy the beautiful weather, walks on the beach and sunsets year-round.
Rosalie is survived by her three daughters: Michelle Reddington of San Francisco, CA, Jennifer Wagner of Pompano Beach, FL, and Lori Reddington of Coral Springs, Florida. She also has three grandchildren: Jessica Mulligan of Long Beach, CA, Katrina Reddington of Raleigh, NC and Ryan Reddington of Pompano Beach, FL as well as one great grandson, William Wolfgang “Wolfie” Hendrix of Long Beach, CA.
