

William Norman Cooper, age 65, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on June 9, 2025. Born on September 15, 1959, in Kingston, Pennsylvania, William was the son of William and Ruth (Klimas) Cooper, who have both predeceased him.
A compassionate, hard-working, kind-hearted, loyal, and resilient man, William spent his career as a machinist in the tool and dye industry. His dedication and skill were evident throughout his professional life.
William was married to and is survived by his wife Nancy Hardison of 42 years, whom he met at Faith Baptist Church where they have been long-time faithful members. He is preceded in death by his siblings, Nancy Willix, Jerome Goble, Lois Goble, and survived by his sisters Jill Cooper and Connie Morrison. He is also survived by his daughters Kathleen Collins (Jason), Jennifer Jacosalem (Joe Val), Elizabeth Ransom (Matthew) and his grandchildren Sydney, Liam, Julie, Jonathan, David, and Lucy. His life was built on love, hard work, and dedication. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing with his grandkids, and helping others however he could. He had a love for animals, particularly his Jack Russell Terrier Rosie.
In his leisure time, William enjoyed going to the gun range, and reading nonfiction, particularly those related to his crafts, biographies, and World War II. William also loved going to the beach, and enjoyed watching Looney Tunes, FSU Seminoles, and the Miami Dolphins.
William will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A visitation will be held on June 14, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Kraeer Funeral Home, located at 200 West Copans Road, Pompano Beach, FL 33064. This will be followed by a funeral service from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the same location. A graveside service will take place from 3:00 pm to 3:30 pm at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens North, also at 200 W Copans Rd, Pompano Beach, FL 33064.
