Alesia Holloway, age 63, was born on December 26, 1961, and passed away on October 11, 2025. It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our sweet, precious mother and wife. Spending time with her family was her greatest joy. Her door was always open to anyone who needed help.
She leaves behind her husband of 47 years, Boyce Holloway, three sons, Boyce “Sha” Holloway (Jane), Samuel Holloway, and Cade Holloway, all of Pontotoc, MS, three stepdaughters, Tammy Lindsey (John) of Randolph, MS, Christi Hamblin (Hunter) of Pontotoc, MS, and Jennifer Holloway, of Houlka, MS, a brother, Duane Holloway (Reba) of Pontotoc, MS. Twelve grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren and her special friend, Tina Pettit.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Quinton Wayne and Nina Marie Munlin Holloway, two sisters, Patricia Lynette Jenkins and Glenda “Peggy” Franks, and a brother, Tommy Lane Holloway.
Pallbearers will be Nathan Hamblin, Hogan Hamblin, Wes Lindsey, Mitchell Holloway, Skylar Holloway, and Brady Murphree. The men of Schooner Chapel Baptist Church will serve as honorary pallbearers.
All the services will be at Schooner Chapel Baptist Church, visitation will be Monday from 5 to 8 P.M., and Tuesday from 1 to 2:00 P.M. The service will be at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, October 14, 2025, with Rev. Lane Finley and Rev. Clifton Waldron officiating, and the burial will follow in Oak Forrest Cemetery. Browning Funeral Home in Pontotoc is honored to assist the family with the arrangements.
