Frances Hooker

Mary Frances Miller Hooker, age 91, passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at NMMC Pontotoc. She was born November 3, 1923 to John Hendrix Miller and Ara Rakestraw Miller. She was a member of West Heights Baptist Church and retired from the Peoples Bank of Pontotoc. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, cooking for her family and flower gardening.

A family graveside service will be held at 10 AM Friday, October 23, 2015 at West Heights Cemetery with Rev. David Hamilton officiating. Browning Funeral Home in Pontotoc is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include her two sons: Jackie Hooker and wife Sandra and Danny Hooker and wife Cristie, all of Pontotoc, MS; her four grandchildren: Gregory Scott Hooker, Stacia Hooker Mills and husband Chris, Brad Hooker and wife Courtney and Ryan Hooker and wife Kari; eight great-grandchildren: Daniel Hooker, Courtney Hooker, Raegan Hooker, Jackson Mills, Avery Hooker, Hayes Hooker, Lynli Hooker and Paxton Hooker; and four great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her two brothers: John Miller and J.W. Miller and a grandson: Matthew Lane Hooker.

Pallbearers will be: Scott Hooker, Brad Hooker and Ryan Hooker.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
