Iris Russell

Iris Raby Russell, age 94, died Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at Graceland Care Center in Pontotoc, MS. She was a member of McGregor’s Chapel Freewill Baptist Church. She had worked at Page’s Ben Franklin Store and was a homemaker.

Services will be at 11:00 AM Thursday, December 22, 2011 at Browning Funeral Home in Pontotoc with Rev. Steve Nichols officiating; burial will follow in the Sand Springs Cemetery. Browning Funeral Home in Pontotoc is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include her daughter: Debbie Park and Dudley of Pontotoc, MS; five grandchildren: Shandra Graham and Aric; Caleb Park, Cody Park, Renee Dobbs and Rushelle Hudson and five great grandchildren: Lakyn Graham, Chloe Graham, Ryan Daniels, Adam Ragon and Austin Ragon.

She was preceded in death by her parents: John Raby and Zelpha Mae Gafford Raby; her husband: Avery Leister Russell and a daughter: Byrnece Bowles.

Pallbearers will be: Aric Graham, Cody Park, Caleb Park, Austin Ragon, Adam Ragon and Curtis Gregory.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 PM Wednesday and from 10 to 11 AM Thursday.
