He was a WWII Navy Veteran. In 1947, he moved to Houston, TX and was employed with American Can Company for 30 years. He was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
Services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Browning Funeral Home Chapel in Pontotoc with Rev. Paul Sims and Rev. Fred Hartley officiating; burial will follow in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Browning Funeral Home in Pontotoc is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years: Geneva Stacy Browning of Pontotoc, MS; daughter: Margaret Enis and grandson: Randall Enis, both of Pensacola, FL.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister: Opal Litton, a brother: Albert Browning.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM Friday and from 1 to 2 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
