Barbara Jean Carver Seal

Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at Catahoula Missionary Baptist Church for Mrs. Barbara Jean Carver Seal, 49, of the Catahoula Community, who died Sunday, August 12, 2012 in the Hancock Medical Center in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi. Brother Donnie Smith will officiate at the service. Burial will follow in the Catahoula Cemetery.

Mrs. Seal is preceded in death by her father, Henry S. Carver; one niece, Sabrina Wilkerson; and one nephew, Steven Hoda. She was a homemaker and a member of Catahoula Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, David Seal, Sr.; one daughter, Elizabeth (Justin) Ladner; one son, David Seal, Jr.; all of the Catahoula Community; eight sisters, Camilla (Larry) Necaise of Kiln, MS, Carol Ann (Curtis) Thomas of Bay St. Louis, MS, Cynthia (Donnie) Carver of Kiln, MS, Shirley (Kenneth) Shipman of Kiln, MS, Elaine Garner of Kiln, MS, Diane (Ray) Seal of Perkinston, MS, Brenda White of Bay St. Louis, MS, and Mary Schwartz of Bay St. Louis, MS; four brothers, Hodges (Carolyn) Bilbo of Ocala, FL, Teddy (Darlene) Bilbo of Bay St. Louis, MS, Hank (Earlene) Carver of Kiln, MS, and Herbert Carver of Kiln, MS; five grandchildren, Brendon Seal, Kaylee Dougherty, Dillon Farrell, Alexis Seal, and Jaelin Ladner; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services on Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at Catahoula Missionary Baptist Church, 22140 Highway 43, Picayune, Mississippi 39466.
