Billy Ray Ladner

Funeral services will be at White Funeral Home, Poplarville on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at 2:00 pm. Rev. Brad Miles will officiate at service. Burial will follow in Davis Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Ladner was born January 1, 1943 in Stone County to Colon Ladner and Irene Lee Ladner. He was a retired Superintendent with T.L. James Construction after 38 years of service. He was presently employed as an operator with Holliday Construction Company for 17 years. He attended Olive Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one son, Ricky Ladner.

Family members include his wife, Reta Lumpkin Ladner; one daughter, Sugar (Tony) Ladner; two sons, Billy Dwayne Ladner, Ray (Mandy) Ladner; one stepson, Timbo (Jennifer) Smith; one sister, Betty Boyd; eleven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Gage Whitten, Jade Whitten, Ricky Ladner, Bert Gentry, Grady Byrd, and Brad Ladner. Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Milner and Garland Smith.
