Brandon Dale Roper

Funeral services are 11:00 am, Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at Lighthouse Family Worship Center, 845 Magnolia Drive North, Wiggins, MS 39577 with Rev. Donnie Havard officiating. Burial will follow in Roper Family Cemetery in Bay Springs, MS at 3:30 pm. Pallbearers will be Evan McFarland, Matt Saucier, Dylan Knight, Chad Knight, Forrest Marlow, and Hunter Phillips.

Mr. Roper was a graduate of Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College and planned to attend 'Ole Miss to pursue a degree in law. While at MGCCC, Brandon played football and was a member of St. Xavier Catholic Church in Wiggins.

Survivors include his grandmother, Sue Roper; one sister, Brandy Roper; one brother, John Posey; three aunts, Brenda (Wayne) Grantham, Theresa Roper, Becky (Mike) Harger; God-Mother, Linda Miller; special friends, Tommy Jones, Mary Jones, Emily Jones, Lucinda Sellers; and a host of extended family.

He is preceded in death by his father, Fallon Dale Willburn; mother, Jennie Rebecca Posey; step-father, Victor Posey; grandfather, Donald Jerry Roper; and great-grandmother, Mrs. F.P. Roper.

Visitation will be 5:30pm until 9:00pm, Monday at the church.
