Garry "Shorty" Lee, age 86 departed this life into God's presence on Monday, May 5, 2025. Shorty was born in Poplarville, Mississippi. He lived an adventurous life riding his trike motorcycle and the Dixie Trail Rides on his horse and wagon.
He is preceded in death by his wife Leona Lee, parents, Myrtle and Robert Lee, Sr.; one son, Jeffery Lee and a host of siblings.
Left to forever cherish Shorty's memory are his two daughters, Gina Stockton (Gary) and Elizabeth Hightower (Brad); one son, Kenny Lee; seven grandchildren, Brittany Hodges, Allison Gay (LJ), Mirah Hodges, Jayden Hightower, Kimberly Graves (Fiance' Blaine), Kara Purvis (Randall) and Rylie Stockton; seven great-grandchildren, Natalee Johnson, Carlee Purvis, Kaylee Purvis, Gunnar Gay, Remington Gay, Tucker Landry and Beaux Johnson, a host of siblings, nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend Shorty's visitation on Saturday, May 10, 2025 from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm at White Funeral Home, 315 Hwy 11 South, Poplarville, Mississippi. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 pm followed by his burial at Oak Hill Cemetery, 579 Oak Hill Road, Poplarville, Mississippi.
