He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Lee Matthews, Jr.

Survivors include his mother, Johnnie Clark Matthews; fiance', Miranda Beech; two sons, Christopher Brian Beech, Jr. and Johnathon Kyle Beech; five daughters, DeAnna Lee Beech, Jasmine Marie Matthews, Randi Starr Nicole Beech, Kylee Cierre' Matthews, Kortlyn Charea Matthews; three brothers, Robert Wayne Matthews, Richard Lee Matthews, and David Adam Matthews; four grandchildren, Reagynn Michelle Beech, Elizabeth Leann Beech, Carson Nash McWilliams, Christopher Brian "Tripp" Beech, III; three nieces, Cheyenne Matthews, Kenzie Matthews, and Tammy Crain; five nephews, David Allen Matthews, Jr., Chad Barry, Sammy Barry, Ben Barry, and Justin Crain.

Memorial services will be 7:00 pm, Saturday, January 12, 2013 at White Funeral Home, 315 Highway 11 South, Poplarville, Mississippi 39470. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service, Saturday at the funeral home.
