Howard Ray Seals

Ray was a Christian and a devoted follower of Jesus Christ. He was a carpenter by trade and a veteran of the Mississippi Army National Guard. He loved to hunt and fish. Above all, Ray was a devoted father to his children and grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his father, Hiram Benjamin Seals; one sister, Brenda Seals; and both maternal and paternal grandparents.

Left to cherish the memories of Ray are his children, Shane Seals (Michele Dixon), Howard B. Seals, Tanya Ladner (Shane), Thomas Graves (Brianna), Skylor Shamp; his mother, Ernestine Seals; siblings, Terry Seals (Ronnie), Michael Seals (Sherry), Annette Hartfield (Ed), Laura Maxwell, Mary Seals, Belinda Mclemore (Kedrick); grandchildren, Jaide Seals, Maykayla Seals, Nathan Ladner, Shanea Downin, Jayce Johnson, Nathaniel Graves, Dalynn Graves, Bryson Graves, Isabella Roark, Cameron Breland, Carson Goodson, Hunter Goodson; a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at White Funeral Home (315 Highway 11 South, Poplarville, MS, 39470) on Friday, January 8, 2021 at 12:00 pm. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends and have visitation from 10:00 am until services, Friday at the funeral home.
