Johnny Doff Rogers

Funeral services will be at WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 315 Highway 11 South, Poplarville, MS, 39470 on Sunday, May 15, 2016 at 2:00 pm. Rev. Roger Miller and Rev. Jeremy Buras will officiate the service. Burial will follow in North Spoon Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends and have visitation from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Saturday at the funeral home.

Mr. Rogers was born November 30, 1941 in Maxie, Mississippi to Dolph Rogers and Louise Sullivan Rogers. He was a retired auto mechanic; a veteran of the United States Army; and Holiness by faith.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters, Shirley Pullens, Mable Miller; and one brother, Roy Rogers.

Family members include two daughters, Doris Palmer, Patricia Wolf; one son, Johnny Ray Rogers (Kristin); four sisters, Daisy Smith, Laverne Kleyle, Earnestine Herndon, Cynthia Morris; five brothers, Tommy Rogers, Jimmy Rogers, Ray Rogers, Charles Rogers, Earnest Rogers; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-nine great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
