Lamar "Cobb" Odom

Mr. Odom was born April 5, 1948 in Poplarville to Arthur and Lucille Smith Odom. Cobb was a retired truck driver and affectionately known as "Snowbird" to all of his CB radio buddies. He enjoyed his gatherings with family, above all. He loved fishing, hunting, and his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by two brothers, Leroy Odom, Lemon Odom; and one sister, Ruby Nell Smith.

Family members include two children, Archie Odom and Angela Shaw (Johnathan); brothers, Levi Odom, Lanell Odom; sisters, Maudie Bell Harris; three grandchildren, Kristin Shaw, Katelyn Shaw, Krystal Shaw; the mother of his children, Judy Conerly; close friend, Lynn Ladner Weisbrodt; and a host of extended family and friends.

Memorial services will be at WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 315 Highway 11 South, Poplarville, MS, 39470 on Sunday, October 14, 2017 at 2:00 pm. Rev. Josh Daniels will officiate the service. The family will receive friends and have visitation two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
