Larry Bryant Smith

Larry Bryant Smith, age 70, of Poplarville, Mississippi passed away on Friday, February 5, 2021.

Larry was born November 29, 1950 in Poplarville, Mississippi. He was the owner and operator of Smith Gravel and Trucking alongside his son Chris; a member of Steep Hollow Masonic Lodge; and a member of Crane Creek Baptist Church.

Larry lived life to the fullest. He loved being with his family and friends more than anything, and everyone that knew him loved him. He was a loving son, brother, uncle and father but his greatest joy was being a Pepaw to his 5 grandchildren whom he adored and they adored him in return. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, great nieces and nephews and all the children in the community. He could often be found sitting on his front porch and always enjoyed visiting with everyone that stopped by. He will be dearly missed.

His parents, Pinkie Smith and Patricia Cuevas Smith precede him in death.

Family members include two sons, Brandon (Courtney) Smith, Chris ( Heidi) Smith; one brother, Todd (Linda) Smith; five grandchildren, Addison, Colin, Halle, Marley, and Grayson; nieces, Ashley (Nick) Baughman, Makinsy Madden, Madelyn. Lindsay Smith, Carter Hardie, Haley (Michael) Kirby, Elliot Eloise.

A graveside funeral ceremony for Larry will be held Monday, February 8, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Smith Family Cemetery (Old Steephollow), 70 Barth Road, Poplarville, Mississippi 39470.
