Robert Earl Taylor

Robert Earl Taylor, 79, of Picayune, Mississippi, passed away on Thursday, April 23rd, 2020 in Forrest General Hospital, Hattiesburg.

Mr. Taylor was born December 3rd, 1940 in Hartford, Alabama to Earnest and Lillie Skipper Taylor. He was a retired crane operator; he attended Harmony Baptist Church; and was an United States Army Veteran. He was a member of the Mose’s Cook Masonic Lodge where he Served as Master for two years. He enjoyed golfing with his friends. On January 12,2015 he got his first Hole-in-One! He always enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one nephew, Stacey Pattillo.

Family members include his wife of 44 years, Myrtle R. Dryman Taylor; two children, Jackie (Bob) Bellanger, Sheila (Rickey) DeHart; five grandchildren, Kayla (Scott) Rouse, Allison (Johnny) Olvera, Bobby (Leah) Bellanger, Samantha DeHart, Madison DeHart; ten great grandchildren, Blayke, Brenden, Brooke, Brantley, Jonathan, Adelina, Jaxie, Aaron, Jaxson, Rylie; three siblings, Elsie (the late Harold) Gainey, Janie (the late Bobby) Pattillo, Virginia Calhoun; a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
