Ruby Nell Smith

Funeral services will be at WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 315 Hwy 11 S, Poplarville on Monday, March 21, 2016 at 10:00 am. Burial wil follow in Smith (Old Steephollow) Cemetery. Rev. Larry Head and Rev.Mark Smith will officiate the service. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Sunday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Smith was born May 5, 1940 in Poplarville to Author L. Odom and Lucille Smith Odom. She was retired from Movie Star, Inc. and a member of Juniper Grove Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Sheridan Telfare Smith;two brothers, Leroy Odom, Lemon Odom.

Family members include three children, Rickey Smith, Sonja Nell Hale (Sam), Jolene S. Bazor (Harvey); one sister, Maudie Belle Harris; three brothers, Levi Odom, Lanell Odom, Lamar Odom; 10 grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren and extended family.
