Funeral services will be 12:00 pm, Friday, July 31, 2015 at White Funeral Home, 315 Highway 11 South, Poplarville, MS, 39470 at 12:00 pm. Burial will follow in Logtown Cemetery, Pearlington. The family will have visitation from 10:00 am until time of services, Friday at the funeral home.
Mr. Young was born January 24, 1931 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Orville Young and Rosa Lee Brewer Young.
Family members include wife, Addie Mitchell Young; four daughters, Veronica Young (Chuck Taber), Valorie Young Prater (Marcus), Vickie Young Wen (Art), Virginia Young; one son, Vance Young (Rita); two step-children, Barbara Kelly (Patrick) and Jackie Russ (Bill); two sisters, Betty Tyson and Jane Brown; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.
