Troy Lee Davis

Mr. Davis was born January 20, 1969 in Wiggins, Mississippi. He was a coach and teacher at Harrison Central High School. He was a graduate of Mississippi Valley State University and William Carey University. He enjoyed football, socializing, and spending time with his family and his "pups". Above all, he strived everyday to provide a better life for his family than he had. He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving in Operation Desert Storm. He married the former Amy Hannaford on July 1, 1988 in Poplarville, Mississippi.

Family members include his loving wife of 31 years, Amy; two children, Guy and his wife Lacee, Micah and her husband, Dexter; his father and mother in-law, David and Helen Hannaford; and his grandmother-in-law, Vivian Smith.

A Celebration of Troy's Life will be held at White Funeral Home, 315 Highway 11 South, Poplarville on Thursday, June 27, 2019 at 12:00 pm. Rev. Jesse Ladner will officiate the service. The family will receive friends and have visitation one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Pearl River County ASPCA.
