Willard Clay Mitchell

Mr. Mitchell was a retired construction superintendent and a member of New Bethel Baptist Church in Poplarville.

Willard will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Dave and Lilly May Mitchell; eight brothers, William Mitchell, Harvey Mitchell, Riley Mitchell, Charles Mitchell, Ray Mitchell, Horace Mitchell, L.D. Mitchell, and David Mitchell; two sisters, Laura "Sis" Alexander and Mary Lou Penton; and two daughters-in-law, Marie Mitchell and Lois Mitchell.

Survivors include his loving wife, Jacqueline K. Mitchell; five sons, Billy Mitchell, Bobby Mitchell, Gary (Debbie) Mitchell, Mark (Helen) Waltman, and Perry Boudwin, Jr.; two daughters, Lydia (Ricky) Herndon and Nicole (Jesse) LeBoeuf; sixteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

Friends are invited to attend his funeral ceremony at 2:00 pm, Saturday, January 5, 2013 at New Bethel Baptist Church, Osborne-Moody Road, Poplarville, Mississippi 39470 with interment following in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends and have visitation 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Friday at White Funeral Home, 315 Highway 11 South, Poplarville, Mississippi 39470 and two hours prior to service, Saturday at the church.
