Gillespie; Arnold “Arnie” passed away on Friday, November 28, 2014 at Ty Watson House in Port Alberni at 76 years of age. Predeceased by his parents John Andrew Gillespie and Harriet Robinson as well as two sons Arnold Jeffrey and Mark Thomas Gillespie and his brother John. Sadly missed and survived by Jane Nicholson, his best friend and partner along with his family in Ireland: sister Molly Oswald, numerous nieces and nephews as well as the Jeffries family in Ontario Judy and John, Michael, Heather and Sebastien, Bryce and great nephews Max and Cal. Also missed by Cousins Mary McGoldrick and family and Ann Kemp. Arnold loved the outdoors, especially fishing. So the next time you are out on the water and you hear “Fish On”, remember Arnie.
