Beulah Mildred Krossa was born in Monitor, Alberta. In 1932 the family moved north to a farm near Vermilion, Alberta where Beulah grew up. In 1947 Beulah moved to B.C. to work at Mc & Mc on Wellington Avenue, near Five Corners. Here she met her husband, James Daniel Krossa, a plumber. Marrying in 1948, they managed to produce four children between the years 1949 and 1952: Gail, Wendell, Barbara and Donna. It was not possible to be a stay-at-home mom, so Beulah worked at various seasonal and fulltime jobs. In 1969 the entire family moved to Three Hills, Alberta, joining the staff at Prairie Bible Institute. Again, Beulah worked in a variety of jobs. At Jim's retirement in 1988, Beulah was finally free to return to BC, first to Lake Cowichan and later to Chilliwack, BC, the place she felt most at home. In her last years she joined her children in Port Alberni, BC where she passed peacefully into her heavenly home.
Beulah is survived by her children Gail (David) Vincent, Wendell (Rena) Krossa, Barbara (Ted) Burns and Donna (Bernie) Golas and seven grandchildren: Brett Golas, Cassandra Golas, Samantha Davies, Mackenzie Vincent, Kyle Krossa, Kelsey Krossa, Kieran Krossa.
Beulah understood accepting the difficulties of life. She was there for her children, a loving and kindhearted person who let herself belly laugh into gasping for air.
She and her family deeply appreciate the care she received at Fir Park Village.
