Beverly Ann Starratt

Beverly passed away peacefully at West Coast General Hospital with family by her side.

She was predeceased by Stanley, her loving husband of 65 years (they started dating at the age of 15);

parents, Stan and Helen Wills (Liverpool, NS) and In-laws, Bedell and Bessie Starratt (Liverpool, NS).

She is survived by her children, Charlie Starratt, Kathy Armour (Ken), Lori Reynolds (Richard), and June Redford (Mike); grandchildren, Christopher Armour, Chelsea Hajer (Andy), Jackie Armour (John Roberts), Mallori Elliott (Schylar), Courtney Harrison (Austin), Jillian Cayer (Cody), Taylor Redford, Kaitlyn Reynolds (Dustin Silvius), Hayden Redford (Cady); great grandchildren,Heidi and Kaylynn Armour, Oliver Hajer, Arlo and Asher Roberts, Parks and Bay Elliott, Mia Harrison, Grae and Arden Cayer, Dax and Wynn Silvius, Josie Redford; siblings, Linda Fralic - Liverpool, NS, Nancy Morehouse (Mike) - Liverpool, NS, Vicki Sutherland (Lewie) – Kensington, PEI; special friends; Barb and Francis Gaetz, Herdis Thomsen, Gayle Starratt and her beloved dog, Jack.

Bev moved from Liverpool, Nova Scotia with three children joining Stan in Port Alberni in 1963. Their fourth child was born in June of 1964. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Bev had a great love for all her various pets over the years (to many cats and dogs to list) each treated like a child. The door to her house was always open and friends were always welcome.

Camping, fishing and hunting were things she enjoyed sharing with her family and friends. Many fond memories of summers spent on the beach in Toquart.

She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and cross stitching and gardening. She also loved playing games and never passed up a game of cards with friends. One of her outstanding traits was that to the end, she never ever complained about anything.
