Christopher Kamma Brock

January 29 1983 - November 20 2022

It is with great sadness the Brock Family announces the passing of Chris “Sydney” Brock at his home in Port Alberni at the age of 39.

Chris is survived by his Mother Michelle, Brother Colin and predeceased by his Sister Toni. Predeceased by Grandpa Jerry, Grandma Bernice, Uncles Kim and Tim, Aunty Jenny, cousin Bonnie, Opa Ralph and Oma Ann.

Chris made an impact on his family, friends and throughout the community that will be fondly remembered for years to come. His amazing memory of places and people’s names meant being introduced to everyone. Whether in a crowded store or movie theatre all received with joy and observed by onlookers with delighted smiles. It was important to Chris that people connect thus making the world a happier place.

Chris loved Family and became de facto Uncle to many people in his extended “Family”. He would always create handmade cards to give and always signed with Love.

MOVIES!!! Chris’s great passion was movies. His amazing memory of facts and actors was remarkable and seldom bested in movie trivia.

We would like to thank his Program workers for the devotion and adventures they shared with him. “ Thank You for being a Friend “

The time that Chris spent with Greg (Mel) having movie night sleepovers, special dinners and McDonald’s breakfast were family moments he treasured.

The family would like to thank everyone for the kind gestures and heartfelt cards sent their way.

No formal service will be held. There will be a family gathering at a later date.
