Dalen Michael Vissia of Port Alberni passed away suddenly Sunday morning February 17th 2013

Dalen was born at WCGH hospital on Oct 3 1992. He graduated from ADSS in 2010

He is predeceased by his grandfather Jack Johnson and his great grandfather George Rigets

Dalen is survived by his mother Stacie Johnston(Mark Jacobson), father Richard Vissia, sister Chiara Vissia, step sister Kianda, grandmother Karen Johnston, his Oma and Opa Willie and Ron Vissia, uncles Darcy Johnston and Ron (Irene) Vissia, Paul (Sherise) Vissia, aunt Michelle (Steve) Bell, and many cousins and amazing friends.

Dalen had an incredibly mechanical brain and always wanted to understand how things worked along with the best ways to do things. Many of the trades were on his radar as a career path, but he had yet to commit to just one so soon.

Dalen loved music, dancing, skateboarding, snowboarding, jumping off high objects. He was always trying new things and almost only if they involved danger. No dare was too big, but only after thorough research online to ensure he would minimize the risk of injury! But by far, being with friends was number one.

Dalen was always in good spirits and made sure that people knew this by constantly being a sassy comedian and practical joker but in contrast a personal counselor to his friends whenever they needed him. He did always make sure to keep an eye on his younger sister Chiara. Dalen had an infectious smile and a loving carefree spirit that seemed to permeate any situation he might be in.

Dalen, you were an amazing son, grandson, nephew, friend and cheeky comedian and you will be missed more than you could ever have imagined. Thanks for lighting up our lives and we hope you keep our seats warm *wink*.

A Service to remember and celebrate Dalen's life will be held on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013 at 1PM at The Kin Hut, 4102 Hollywood, Port Alberni.
