David William Ball

It is with grateful hearts for a life beautifully lived that we announce the passing of our beloved father, grandfather, and great grandfather. David William Ball passed away peacefully at home on April 20, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones. He proudly celebrated his 95th birthday in December, with the family he loved dearly.

David was predeceased by his loving parents, Thomas and Selena Ball as well as 2 brothers and 5 sisters.

For nearly three decades, David carried the memory of his beloved wife, Eileen in his heart after her passing. Though he carried the loss of Eileen dear to him, he also carried their stories and traditions forward with grace. Today, it gives the family much comfort in knowing David and Eileen are reunited once again.

David leaves behind his loving sons, Rick (Diane) and Wayne (Bea); his grandchildren, Leah (Nelson), Brent (Angela) and Krissandra; his 5 great grandchildren, Matthew, Hannah, Owen, Aliviah and Michael; step grandchildren, James, David (Kat) and Kerry; step great grandchildren, Eleana, Jericho, Kason, Kalyan and Aliceon. The family will continue to honour his values, his many stories and his love.

Though he will be deeply missed, his life reminds us that a long life is not just measured in years, but in the love we give and the lives we touch.

There will be no service, by David's request. Condolences may be forwarded to the family though Yates Memorial Port Alberni.
