Donald James Gaetz

With sadness we announce Donald James Gaetz, age 62, died peacefully at home on Saturday, April 25th, 2020. Don will be remembered by his wife Jaci, his son Christopher (April), daughter Terri-Anne (Robert) and grandchildren: Kurtis, Jenna and Amy; sisters and brothers-in-law Kathy & Gerry and Lynne & Gerald.

Don will also be missed by his Nova Scotia family: mom Maryanne Demonde, brothers Mike (BJ), Steven (Michael), and sister Laurel McLeod; and many beloved nieces and nephews from west and east coast.

Don was born and raised in Nova Scotia and moved to BC in 1978. He worked for over 36 years at the Pulp and Paper Mill. He was an avid and competitive card player, master bowler and YBC coach. He enjoyed people and talking for hours. His greatest attribute was his generosity to all. Don was happiest on the dance floor with his wife.

An opportunity to toast his memory will be held at a later date.
