Predeceased by her husband and father of their children August L. Gatter. She is survived by her second love Germano Sandri, son August (Cody and Wacey), daughter Ann (Michael and Michelle) and 5 great grandchildren.
Elfi and August senior brought their family from Austria in search of a better life in 1963. Mom and Dad settled in Port Alberni in the early seventies and established a thriving upholstery business until Dad passed. In retirement, she was fortunate enough to find her second love in Germano Sandri and they were together for 30 years.She was loved by many and had much love to share with all that knew her. She will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
Rest in peace Mom, Grandma and Great Grandma.
A a celebration of life for Elfriede will be held Friday, May 19, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Chapel of Memories Funeral Directors, 4005 Sixth Avenue, Port Alberni, BC V9Y 4M6.
