He is survived by Afra, his beloved wife of 46 years; his 3 daughters Marylou Jarvis (Chris) of Burnaby, Cristina Centomo (Oriano) of Port Alberni and Silvia Panziera (Tricia) of Victoria; 2 grandchildren: Luca and Matteo his brothers Gino (Carla) and Franco (Julie) and sister Maria Guerra (Loris) as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Joe following his dad’s passing brought his mother and siblings to Canada for a better life. Joe was an industrious, hard worker who owned and operated Joe’s Masonry for many years. He also was an avid sports fan, especially soccer and a longtime member of the Italian Canadian Society.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at Notre Dame Roman Catholic Church, 4731 Burke Rd with Fr. Stephen Paine officiating. Cremation to follow.
