Predeceased by his parents, Ann Margaret and Lyn Gordon McLeod as well as nephew Jerrod.
Survived by wife Sharon; siblings John (Rose), Diana (Dave), and Jody (Robert); extended family Caroline and Shawn; nieces and nephews, Chantelle, Tyler, Justin, Lindsay, Dana, Angie, Shannon, Christine and Michael.
Gord’s family moved to Port Alberni in the early 70’s and was raised in the valley. A shy and private person, Gord worked as a carpet and floor installer as well as other various jobs. He liked gardening, loved his family, and was good with animals. He missed his father so very much.
A Celebration of Gord’s life will be held 11am – 2pm on Friday, March 6, 2015 at Royal Canadian Legion Branch #293, 4680 Victoria Quay, Port Alberni.
