Gregory William Marks

Predeceased by parents Bill and Marion; Greg is survived by brother Doug; nephews Donnie (Kori), Ben and niece Marlene; as well as numerous extended family and many lifelong friends – Kathy and Pete, Bruce and Joy, Jack, Ron, John, Roz and Lorraine.

Born and raised in Port Alberni, Greg spent most of his career working for the City of Port Alberni. When not working Greg spent the majority of his time on Massacre Island, which he owned and loved for over 40 years. A devoted animal lover, Greg had an affinity for Siberian Huskies and throughout his life owned Cheemo, Jason, Kayla and Nikko. He definitely had a soft spot for dogs and was known to ‘babysit’ neighbors and friends dogs while they were away. Greg also loved his cars and his music.

According to Greg’s wishes, Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Greg's name to North Island Wildlife Recovery Association, 1240 Leffler, Errington, BC V0R 1V0, Canada or a charity of your choice.
