Beloved mother of Delaine Lozza (Brian) and Deneen Lozza (Joe). Predeceased by her mother, Mary Earl, son Bill Lozza and daughter Debbie Lozza and her husband Werner Koeller. She leaves to mourn, her two daughters, her sister Gloria Yesowick, brother John Murray (Simone), sister Carole Walton (Terence), granddaughter Naomi Race (Dave) great grandchildren Justin and Aaron as well as several nieces and nephews and her baby boy Nero the cat.
Helen was born in Smithers but lived most of her life in Port Alberni. Besides operating a hair dressing salon with her sister Gloria in the forties, Helen was a positive force in the Brite Spot family drive in restaurant, the hot spot in Beaver Creek during the fifties. She was a great cook, especially with her many traditional Italian dishes. She also managed the Blue Door Café for several years. Helen loved to knit and read to further her knowledge. She was a great conversationalist, enjoying a discussion on just about anything.
