Predeceased by her husband Harry, Ingrid is survived by her daughter Petra; grandson Sven, and many friends living in Canada and Germany.
Ingrid and her husband arrived in Canada and bought a number of businesses. After the passing of her husband Ingrid sold the businesses and retired, taking up gardening and entertaining her friends. She spent the last three years living in Echo Village where she was visited by her friends Kathy Krznaric and Ana Sumecki.
