Iris met the love of her life, Larry, in Brandon, Manitoba. They lived in Brandon and Calgary before coming to Port Alberni in 1968 where they spent the rest of their days together. Iris loved to garden, knit, crochet, golf and bowl which she did until she was 90 years old. She also loved to bake and you couldn’t get away without having a treat when visiting her. She had a great sense of humour and a warm heart and was happiest when surrounded by her family, her greatest joy.
Iris is predeceased by her husband Larry and her son Larry Edward Forcier. She is survived by her daughters, Linda (Dave) and Michele (Kevin), son Edward (Colleen), daughter-in-law (Mary Beth), 9 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. She will be missed and remembered with love.
Private Family Service only.
Our family would like to extend our sincere thanks and gratitude to Dr. Freddie Meyer and the staff at West Coast General Hospital. We would also like to thank the staff at Timberline at North Park.
