Jane had come to Canada from Holland in 1952. she spent her years working first at the Plywoods, Bronson's and following that at KMart. All our friends will never forget those famous kmart French fries she made and piled high on their plates! Mom loved playing bingo and enjoying the casino in her spare time. She managed it all, work, play, and caring for 8 kids. Mom had a real soft spot for babies. she was always caring, had a great sense of humor and always found the good side of people, never holding a grudge.
Mom found a very tough battle with Parkinson's for years and in her final days suffered from pneumonia and other complications. The staff at Echo Village took great care of her as well as us as we struggled through those final days.
In lieu of flowers please make a donation of the Parkinson's Foundation.
You will never be forgotten mom, we love and miss you terribly.
