Jeanette Kalli-Patovirta

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jeanette Kalli-Patovirta. Born in Guyana, South America on January 1st 1948 to John (Abdul) and Sylvia Kalli {both deceased}. Jeanette took her last breath here on earth on Wednesday, February 19th at 8:39PM in Port Alberni, British Columbia. Jeanette worked at Canada Revenue Agency for a number of years before retiring and was known for her work ethics, and vibrant personality.

She was a loving mother to Jason Patovirta, Mother in Law to Regan and grandmother to two precious boys Markku and Kalevi and loving wife to Mark Patovirta {deceased}. She is survived by her sisters Evelyn Bennett (Mike); Julie Kalli (Victor) and her brothers Alwin Kalli (Gail), Leslie Kalli, John Kalli (Jacinthe), David Kalli (Mandy) and, by her nieces Kareen, Sabrina, Nicole, Jasmine, Marcia, Abigail; nephews Kris, Matthew, Jeff, Julian, Alex, Michael, Karl, Adrian. She will also be missed by her brother in law Sep Patovirta, sister in law Susan Patovirta and sister in law Freida Kalli. Beloved sister, mother, aunt and friend, gone too soon but will never be forgotten. We will miss her laughter, jokes, compassion and sincerity. She was a vibrant, fun loving person, who loved life.

Funeral service will be held at First Memorial, Victoria, British Columbia on Monday, March 10, 2025 at 11AM.

Burial will take place at Royal Oak Burial Park, Victoria, British Columbia at 1PM
